Palatine Ripper PP-RIP

Palatine Engineering Ltd developed the PP RIP in conjunction with agricultural contractors, to answer a need to improve the efficiency of reseeding operations.  The Palatine PP-RIP provides an initial surface loosening/ripping operation. Being front mounted it allows this additional operation to be done on the same pass, as well as negating the need for front weights.

The Palatine PP-RIP is fitted with twin ripper tips on the tines as standard. These provide a loosening/ripping effect on the ground. Tine angle is adjustable through 70 degrees, therefore allowing for varying ground conditions. Adjustment is through a ratchet turnbuckle making adjustment quick and easy.

For road transport the width has been kept under 3m, with marker lighting and reflective tapes as standard. In addition the depth control wheels have been kept inboard to ease turning into gateways. The wheel height, which regulates tine operating depth, is adjustable via turnbuckles. As an additional option the PP-RIP can be configured for rear mounting if desired.

Key features:

  • 13 spring Steel tines fitted with double ripping tips.
  • Twin tine bar design connected by parallel links.
  • Tine angle adjustment by ratchet link which adjusts all tines in one go , quick and easy.
  • Oversize wheel equipment for lower rolling resistance and flotation. Adjustment by turnbuckles.
  • LED marker lights and reflective tapes as standard.
  • Can be configured to fit on rear of tractor.
  • Levelling paddles an option.
